The rules and regulations as mentioned below shall be binding on all participants who register using any of the registering mechanisms (as described hereinbelow) for the competition organised under the name and style of “Lulu Funtura Little Chef 2024”.

The registration for the above mentioned event shall start/commence from 18-12-2023 and shall end on 14-01-2024. The registration shall be done Online and Offline. The Auditions for the said event shall take place at the South Atrium of the Lulu Mall start/commence from 20-01-2024 and shall end on 21-01-2024. Subsequently, the selected candidates shall be shortlisted 15-01-2024. The Grand finale of the event shall be at the Atrium of the Mall on 27-01-2024.

The Competition aims to provide a platform for little aspiring chefs to enjoy and have a blast while showcasing their talent and passion for food through their cooking skills.

The competition is for children who fall under the age group of 8 to 15 years (the contestant/s shall not exceed the age of 15 as on 31st of December 2023). The qualifying participant(s)/contestant(s) shall proceed to the next level of the competition as per the format of the competition.

The participant(s)/contestant(s) need to perform before the judges who are eminent in their fields chosen by the management of Lulu Mall.

Upon selection of the participant(s)/contestant(s), they shall participate in the Final round as per the date intimated by the authorised representative of the Lulu management. Non- appearance on the said date by the selected participant(s)/contestant(s) shall be considered as elimination/disqualification from the competition. In case of impossibility of appearance by the selected candidate on the said date the same should be intimated to the authorised personnel of Funtura well in advance. The decision of the Lulu Management shall be final and binding on all the participant(s)/contestant(s) in this regard and no claims in whatsoever and howsoever manner shall be entertained.

The performances in the audition and all subsequent rounds shall be video recorded by management of Lulu and shall remain the sole property of Funtura/Lulu.

Participants, by registering, grant lulu/Funtura the right to use their name, image, video, and related content for promotional and marketing purposes.

The selection of participants/winners in each round is solely based on the marks given by the judges in each category based on the performances of the participant(s)/contestant(s) in the rounds. The decision of the Judges shall be final and non-arguable.

As the participant(s)/contestant(s) are under the age of 18 years(minor) the registration should be done with prior consent and knowledge of the participant’s/contestant’s parents/ legal guardians and all obligations, responsibility and undertakings should be compiled by the participant’s/contestant’s parents/legal guardian. Participant(s)/contestant(s) shall strictly be accompanied by parents/legal guardian to all the rounds of the event. Lulu management has the authority and the right to disqualify any participant(s) at any point of time during the event, if it comes to the knowledge that such participant had participated without due consent, knowledge and awareness of his/her/their parents or legal guardians.

Only the 1st,2nd & 3rd winners shall be eligible for the prize after deduction of the applicable taxes. The Winner shall receive a trophy, certificate and cash price amounting to Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only). The Runner up shall receive a trophy, certificate and cash price amounting to Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only), the second runner up shall receive a trophy, certificate and cash price amounting to Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand Only). All the finalists (Except the winners) shall receive Trophy, Certificate and Funtura play card worth of ₹5,000.

All the Cash prices mentioned above shall be subject to deduction of applicable taxes.

Code of Conduct: Participants/Family Members of the participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner throughout the event. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate or in violation of the event's code of conduct may result in disqualification.

Cancellation: In the event of unforeseen circumstances or reasons beyond the organizers' control, the event may be cancelled.

The Lulu Management shall have the right to make changes to the event schedule, rules, or any other aspect of the event without prior notice.

Any dispute shall be submitted to a Sole Arbitrator, who shall be appointed by both parties in accordance with the Arbitration and the Conciliation Act, 1996. The place of arbitration shall be Bengaluru and the language used in arbitral proceeding shall be English and, the courts at Bengaluru shall have the exclusive jurisdiction in respect of all the subject matters with relation to the offer.

By participating in this event each contestant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

General Rules

If the participant is confirmed and selected by Lulu management for the next round, then the participant shall report to such venue at the date and time as informed by Funtura/ Lulu.

The cost of travel and accommodation for registering and participation in the auditions shall be borne solely by the participant/s and Lulu management shall not be liable for the same.

The rules and regulations provided from time to time at the sole discretion of Funtura, forms part of these terms and conditions and participant(s)/contestant(s) are bound by them at all times during the event.

The management of Funtura reserves the right to modify or make changes to the events, schedule, and rules of the contest at their sole discretion without prior notice.

Lulu iLulu is not at all liable or responsible for the contents of the performance of the participant(s)/contestant(s). Claims from any sources in whatsoever and howsoever manner will not be entertained by the Lulu management.

Lulu Management is not responsible for any injuries to participant and their family member that may occur during the cutting of vegetables or the preparation of ingredients for the event.
